In her 12+ years in the field of communications, Lee-Anne Sprague has repeatedly proven her ability to write clear, concise and dynamic content on virtually any topic and for any type of publication. Whether you are looking for a writer for a simple press release, a captivating feature article, a compelling web site, an enlightening annual report or any other vehicle of communication, you can rely on her to effectively convey your message and capture your audience’s attention.

In 2001, at the age of 29, Lee-Anne was already enjoying a successful career as the Director of Corporate Communications and Community Relations for Johnson Health Network, a family of seven healthcare organizations serving north central Connecticut and neighboring Massachusetts towns. When she discovered that she was expecting her first baby, however, she found herself torn in two directions – her longing to stay home with her child and her dedication to her work. She left her post within the Network to launch her own business, providing writing, consulting and coordination services for professional communications. Five years and two babies later, she has successfully managed to blend her family and professional lives and is enjoying not only her children, but also a thriving business.

Before she ever puts pen to paper or sits down at her computer, Lee-Anne takes the time to get to know her clients. She prides herself on correctly identifying their needs and then meeting them in the most efficient manner possible. She believes in the power of creativity to solve virtually any problem or concern and puts her words to work for those she serves. What’s more, she has developed an extensive network of highly talented graphic designers, printers and other specialists in marketing and communications with whom she collaborates on a regular basis.

Lee-Anne graduated from the University of Maine at Orono, where she majored in English with a concentration in expository writing. She was a member of Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honor Society, and was also awarded the prestigious President’s Award for academic achievement. In the years hence, Lee-Anne has gained experience working with both for-profit and non-profit agencies and has been recognized by the International Association of Business Communicators on two different occasions.
